Suggested Brunch Places

Suggested Brunch Places

Philadelphia is a city known for its history, art, culture, and of course food. I bring to you my favorite brunch places, so far.

Sabrina’s Cafe

Its three locations over the city provide a comforting atmosphere and plentiful food that is of course delicious. Sabrina’s is known for it’s top selling french toast, said to be the best in the city, and it’s unique specials menu. The first time I went to Sabrina’s Cafe, I felt at home and was impressed with the quality of food and the restaurant's wide selection. Sabrina’s cafe is a vegetarian and vegan friendly restaurant.

Huevos Rancheros, it was delicious

Green Eggs Cafe

Probably one of the most famous and busiest brunch places in the city. Green Eggs Cafe is known for its never-before-seen recipes, Red Velvet pancakes, Buffalo Mac and Cheese, Apple Pie French Toast, Chicken and Waffles, just to name a few. It’s great to go with a couple friends on a Saturday or Sunday morning, but always expect a wait. There are options for everybody, sweet, salty, both, they have it!

Ricky Smoothie, Buffalo Chicken Mac and Cheese, Waffle and Eggs Benedict, Nutella S'mores French Toast(specials menu), and Creme Brulee French Toast

Serving brunch only on Saturday and Sunday, Fare is an organic, local restaurant with the top quality food. At a beautiful location on Fairmount Avenue, it’s perfect for a sunny morning. Their menu includes something for everyone, salads, sweets, savory, and benedicts. This is the perfect brunch place to go with your friends for a day filled with shopping and hanging out in Center City. I remember when I went I got salted caramel pancakes, a mistake because I knew something that heavy would make my stomach hurt, but surprisingly it did not and it was very delicious. I enjoyed my morning with a full stomach, ready to go book shopping.
