Most Anticipated Reads of 2015-2016

With very year comes more than 300,000 new books. Here are a list of my most anticipated for the 2015/2016 school year!! (They may be all YA. . .)


5 to 1 by Holly Bodger

Release date: May 12, 2015

The setting is India in the year 2054, and women are extremely valuable. Tired of marrying off their daughters to the highest bidder, a series of tests have been put in place for every boy to have a chance to win a wife. Our two main characters, Sudasa and Contestant Five, have other plans that exclude matrimony. Sudasa's family wants their daughter to pick a good husband that will make her comfortable. Five’s parents want him to escape by failing the tests. This unique novel highlights the pain and struggle for hope from both characters.


Vengeance Road by Erin Bowman
